Welcome to For Your Mind Workshops for Adults.
This workshop offers a creative space where participants can explore their emotions, express themselves, and promote well-being through various artistic mediums. Through a supportive and non-judgmental environment, participants engage in guided art projects that enhance self-awareness, reduce stress, and foster relaxation. Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, this workshop has something for you!

About the facilitators:
Hosted by Kim who identifies as part of the queer and neurodivergent communities and has a diagnosed mental illness
Kimmi (she/her/they/them) is a co-owner of For Your Mind Boxes and has long desired to host group workshops. After successfully leading a workshop for Headspace in 2022, she is eager to grow the business and organize more events like this. With a deep passion for mental health and wellbeing, Kim is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for the community.
Class Information
Term 2 classes now available. Each workshop goes for 4 weeks and explores different mediums and activities around art and mental health.
Join us at Bluebird Foundation House, Corner of Swanston and Carr Street , South Geelong, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. South Geelong Train Station is the closest public transport.
The dates and art activities are as follows:
- Clay Creations will go for 4 weeks starting the 29th April to the 20th of May. You must book all 4 classes
- Painting Creations will go for 4 weeks starting the 27th May to the 17th of June. You must book all 4 classes.

If you are bringing a support worker or carer, please notify us so we can accommodate!
NDIS Participants can use their funding if they are Plan or Self-Managed and community based programs are part of their goals.

How much is it?
$80 for ALL classes ($20 per class).
Where do I book?

What ages is this for?
Anyone over 18+! We expect a wide range of ages to come.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself! and a drink of water! All materials are supplied and we will have a box of fidget and sensory tools. You are welcome to bring your own fidgets and sensory tools, we would suggest Loop ear buds as the trains can get loud. Tea and coffee available.
Do I need experience?
Absolutely not, it is a fun art class for self-expression and meeting like minded people. Leave perfectionism at the door and come and have fun in an inclusive space!
Where is it?
At the beautiful Bluebird Foundation House in South Geelong. Corner of Swanston and Carr Street. We will be in the outdoor shed.
How do I get there?
There is plenty of street parking available and Geelong South train station is close by.
Do I have to do every class?
For term 2, yes you do. If you are unable to make a class, you can transfer your spot to someone else.
Can I use NDIS?
Absolutely, if you are plan or self managed! It will come under community participation.
Can I bring a carer or companion?
Of course, please just let us know you are so we have the right numbers. If they want to participate, we can offer a discounted rate.
I can't make it anymore, what is your refund policy?
Bookings can be refunded (minus a 15% admin fee) 48 BEFORE the class. After 48 hours, we cannot refund the fee. We apologise for the inconvenience. You are welcome to pass the booking onto someone else if you like.
